Interactive Games

Games are the heart of IncentIA's gamified campaigns. They transform a traditional promotion into an interactive and fun experience that engages your customers. There are currently three types of games available.

Spin the Wheel

The spin the wheel is the most popular game. The participant spins a virtual wheel and wins the prize it lands on.

Configure the Wheel

  1. When creating your campaign, select the Spin the Wheel game
  2. Define the segments of the wheel (between 4 and 12 segments):
    • For each segment, configure:
      • Name: the text displayed (for example, "100 points", "10% discount", "Try again")
      • Prize type: points, coupon, physical product, or no prize
      • Probability: the percentage chance of landing on that segment
      • Color: the color of the segment on the wheel
      • Image: optional, a representative icon
  3. Make sure the probabilities add up to 100%
  4. Click Save

Customize the Appearance

  • Wheel colors: customize the colors of each segment to match your brand
  • Center image: add your logo in the center of the wheel
  • Sound: enable or disable spinning sound effects
tip

Always include at least one segment without a prize ("Try again" or "Come back tomorrow") to control campaign costs. A typical distribution is 60-70% no prize and the rest split among the prizes.

Scratch Card

The participant scratches a virtual card with their finger to discover if they have won a prize.

Configure the Scratch Card

  1. When creating your campaign, select the Scratch Card game
  2. Define the possible prizes:
    • For each prize, configure:
      • Name: prize description
      • Prize type: points, coupon, product, or no prize
      • Probability: the percentage chance of getting this prize
      • Image: the image revealed when scratched
  3. Configure the card appearance:
    • Cover image: what the participant sees before scratching
    • Instructions text: for example, "Scratch here to discover your prize"
  4. Click Save

The scratching experience works on both mobile (with finger) and desktop (with mouse). The result is revealed when the participant has scratched approximately 50% of the surface.

Trivia

The participant answers questions and wins prizes based on their correct answers. Ideal for educational or brand awareness campaigns.

Configure the Trivia

  1. When creating your campaign, select the Trivia game
  2. Create the questions:
    • For each question, configure:
      • Question text
      • Answer options (between 2 and 4 options)
      • Correct answer: mark which option is correct
      • Image: optional, an image associated with the question
  3. Define the scoring rules:
    • Points per correct answer: how many points earned for each correct answer
    • Streak bonus: extra points for answering several correctly in a row
    • Time bonus: extra points for answering quickly
  4. Define the prizes by result:
    • You can set different prizes based on the number of correct answers
    • For example: 5/5 correct = big prize, 3/5 = medium prize, less than 3 = consolation points
  5. Click Save

Trivia about your brand or products is an excellent way to educate your customers about your offerings while they have fun.

Configuring Probabilities and Prizes

Probability Distribution

For the spin the wheel and scratch card, probabilities determine how often each prize is won. Some tips:

  • The probabilities of all prizes must add up to exactly 100%
  • Assign lower probabilities to higher-value prizes
  • Include a "no prize" option with a high probability to control costs

Prize Stock Control

You can limit the quantity of each available prize:

  1. In the prize settings within the game, enable Limited Stock
  2. Set the available quantity
  3. When a prize runs out, probabilities are redistributed among the remaining ones

Review the cost calculation before launching the campaign. If you expect 10,000 participations and 30% win a prize, make sure you have the budget to cover 3,000 prizes.
