Standalone Campaigns
Standalone campaigns are promotions that work without requiring the participant to be a member of a loyalty program. They are perfect for one-off activations, lead capture, and promotional actions open to the general public.
When to Use Standalone Campaigns
- Product launch: you want to generate buzz and capture data from potential customers
- Events and trade shows: you offer a game at your booth to attract visitors
- Lead capture: you want to build a contacts database
- Open promotions: anyone can participate without needing to be registered in a program
- Collaborations with other brands: joint campaigns where participants are not your regular customers
Create a Standalone Campaign
- Go to Campaigns > Create Campaign
- For the campaign type, select Standalone Campaign
- Configure the basic details just like any campaign:
- Name, public title, description, image
- Start and end dates
- Select the game you want to include (spin the wheel, scratch card, trivia)
- Configure the prizes and probabilities
Simplified Registration
In a standalone campaign, participants do not need to be members, but you may still need to capture their data:
- In the Registration section, enable the capture form
- Choose the fields you want to request:
- Name (recommended)
- Email (recommended)
- Phone (optional)
- Custom fields (city, company, interests, etc.)
- Enable the consent checkbox to comply with GDPR regulations
- Optionally, enable Add to loyalty program so participants automatically become members
Asking for only essential data (name and email) maximizes participation. Each additional field reduces the conversion rate.
Landing Page
Standalone campaigns have their own landing page with all customization options:
- Configure the slug, hero image, text, and CTA button
- Customize colors and logo
- See the landing pages guide for more details
Point-of-Sale Activations
For in-person activations (trade shows, events, pop-ups), you can use the standalone campaign in on-site mode:
- Display the game on a tablet or screen at your booth
- Participants play directly and enter their data afterward
- Generate a QR code so visitors can access it from their phones
Lead Capture
Data collected in standalone campaigns is stored in the Leads section:
- Go to Campaigns > select the campaign > Leads
- You will see the list of all participants with their data
- You can export the list in CSV format to import it into your CRM or email marketing tool
- If you enabled the option to add to the program, leads will already be registered as members
Standalone campaigns are an excellent entry point. A participant who wins a prize on a spin the wheel is an ideal candidate to become a member of your loyalty program.
Games Without Prizes (Pure Engagement)
You can also create campaigns where the prize is not a product but the experience itself:
- Knowledge trivia: "How much do you know about our brand?" - engagement and education
- Discount wheel: all segments have some discount, nobody loses
- Scratch card with messages: personalized messages or congratulations instead of physical prizes
